NASHVILLE, TENN.  (April 10, 2009)--Award-winning Rounder Records duo Dailey & Vincent debut at #1 on Billboard's Top Bluegrass Albums chart with their second release, Brothers From Different Mothers (chart date April 18).

New CD from Rounder Records!

Dailey & Vincent make us really happy.  Listen to their new Rounder release, "Brothers from  Different Mothers" and you'll hear why.  And if

you are wondering what guitar you see on the front cover of their new CD,  it's Jamie's Vintage Dread in Honduran Rosewood & Adi top!   And, Darrin says that the Vintage D was used on every cut of this CD.

Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent are veterans of Bluegrass music having some twenty years experience between the two of them from long tenures with Bluegrass and Country legends Doyle Lawson and Ricky Skaggs.

We got to know Darrin Vincent when he played with Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder.  For a long time he played a Bourgeois archtop on that gig.  In Dailey & Vincent he plays his Vintage D in Adirondack & Honduran Rosewood that we made for him a couple of years ago.  He told me often loans it  to Jamie Dailey or Joe Dean, telling me that the guitar is so great, the whole band loves to play it.   Jamie Dailey finally got one of his own late
late last year and we are so proud to be a part of their great sound.

Here they are playing their Bourgeois guitars on the famed country radio station, WSM with Eddie Stubbs .

Darrin's Vintage Dread  was used extensively on Dailey & Vincent's award winning first CD, "Dailey & Vincent".

And here they are at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Jamie honored us that day by playing the Bourgeois on the beautiful Jimmy Fortune songr “More Than a Name on a Wall”.  You can learn more about that here.

And this YouTube video shows off some of the best singing I have ever heard. Note that Jimmy Fortune is playing Darrin's beloved Bourgeois Vintage Dread.  Tell me if this singing doesn't make you cry.
