The Custom Bourgeois Guitars made especially for the 2010 Winter NAMM show.
NAMM gives us a great opportunity to show off a little in front of our friends and peers. Each guitar we bring has something a little extra about it whether an exciting set of Figured Mahogany or another great tonewood or the first of a new model... Each is numbered and signed as NAMM 2010 instrument.

#5139. The OMS / Adirondack & Cocobolo Back&Sides. 12 Fret Slot head. 25 1/2" scale. Wood tile rosette. Ziricote body binding , Soloist purflings and a striking set of Cocobolo. The DB Backstrip looks wonderful laid out against the sapwood streak of the Cocobolo. We've made it
a bit more custom by using a new "Tile" rosette pattern. Short patterned Squares & Diamonds inlay. 1 3/4" nut and Ebony pyramid bridge. Waverly 3-on-a-plate tuners with Ebony Buttons. Contact Wil and Julie at Spruce Tree Music in Madison Wisconsin to hear all about this first OMS in Cocobolo.
#5135. Slope D/ Sq head / 25" Short Scale - Mahogany & Adirondack. Great Mahogany. 1 23/32" nut. The short scale makes this guitar a dream for picking and grinning on a country blues. Nice old J-45 vibe but with all the modern ammenities(!) Ivoroid binding all around. Tiny dots. Nickel Waverly tuners with Ivoroid buttons. Nice Firestripe gaurd. #5143. Custom DS-260 . This is a 12 Fret
Slot head version of our Advanced Slope D in
Natural. Very nice stripey Indian Rosewood and Adirondack top. Ivoroid Triple bound body, neck and headstock. Bourgeois Floral Inlay. This is a one-of-a-kind custom. Very elegant. Call Klem at Cathedral Music in Troy, New York. This was a favorite at the show with the serious pickers like David Grissom and Scott Fore.
#5140. O Custom. New. 14 fret. 25" Short Scale. Adi & Indian RW Sunburst. Hard to believe this is Indian Rosewood. Hard to believe it's a little guitar. Nice big bass and a singing high end. 1 3/4" nut and 2 5/16" Ebony pyramid bridge.
This is a great little burst . DB Signature herringbone and rosette as well as the Short pattern Squares and Diamonds in Ivory. With Waverly Gold tuners and Snakewood buttons. Call Steve Miklas. #5136 . V2M- OM. 25" Short Scale. Hot Hide Glue and Oil Varnish. Nice Striped Mahogany. Beautiful Adi top. Ebony body binding and butt wedge. 1933 Style Vintage Dots. Waverly nickel tuners with oval buttons. To add to the vintage vibe, it has a 1 3/4" Mammoth Ivory nut with 2 5/16" Ebony belly bridge. Great guitar for the player who has a nice bunch of great dreads and is looking for something smaller but with a great big tone.. to enjoy at home...with all the ease of playing that comes from a short scale guitar. #5138. OO Dlx. 14 Fret. 25" scale. 1 23/32" nut and 2.2" at the bridge. Figured Mahogany & Bearclaw Sitka top. YaHoo. This one is sort of tricked out like a Country Boy Dlx, but with Bearclaw Sitka, Figured Mahogany and Ziricote body binding. For NAMM we've added a Ziricote bridge, fingerboard and matching Ziricote headstock veneer. Waverly Gold Tuners with Snakewood buttons wraps it up. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the new Ivoroid logo and dots on this model, real nice with the satin head. The 00's have all been comfortable to play with a great big sound that stays rich even when you play it hard. (and did I forget to mention bearclaw ? check it out ). We've finally found a great source for maple necks and curly maple body wood. Cocobolo Body binding. DB backstrip. Soloist triple bound purflings. Figured Brazilian Rosewood head veneer. Tiny dot inlay. Firestripe gaurd. This small jumbo is an exciting new model for us. We think it may prove to be the most versatile of all.
